Legend has it Gordius, king of Phrygia, tied an intricate knot known as the Gordian knot. Alexander the Great failed to untie it, so he simply cut it in two with his sword. This bold act gave rise to the phrase "cutting the Gordian knot". This pendant features a design inspired by the myth of this symbolic knot.

These earrings are exactly what I was looking for! I have Queen Puabi's replica necklace from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and they are a perfect match! The earrings are well made and comfortable, and look contemporary or ancient. Very versatile!

I had purchased the same scarab earrings from a museum shop after visiting an Egyptian special exhibit and loved them. I lost one and was so thrilled to be able to find the same earrings again to replace it. They are exactly what I hoped they would be.
